Can I Become a Member?
Membership is open to an individual that can demonstrate they have a legitimate interest in vehicle theft and is particularly relevant (but not limited) to anyone working in the following areas:
- Policing - Investigators, Intelligence Analysts and Scientific staff
- Insurance - Fraud and Investigation staff, Claim and Underwriting Managers
- Private Investigators
- Vehicle Registration authorities - Inspectors and policy makers
- Crime Prevention and Fraud Specialists
- Academics and Researchers
- Motor Trades - Policy makers
- Vehicle Manufacturers
- Forensic Locksmiths
Application For Membership

The new member application includes nomination by two existing members of IAATI during the application process. (i.e you will need to record their email address and telephone number in the "Proposed by", and "Second by". sections of the form). If you know two existing members of IAATI you should have these details ready before starting the online application process.
If you "don't know any IAATI members" but want to join the International Association of Auto Theft Investigator - Australasian Branch, complete the new member online application form leaving the names of the proposer and seconder blank and submit the application by clicking on the link below.

Or prospective members can print a copy of the membership application (pdf) and complete the details, leaving the names of the proposer and seconder blank. Once completed it can be:
emailed to president@iaatiaus.org or
faxed to +61 7 5609 6008. or
posted to the address shown on the form along with a cheque or credit card details for payment.
The cost of membership is disclosed on the form.
An Australasian Branch Committee member will email or telephone you to discuss your membership application and may request industry referees to ensure that you qualify for IAATI membership according to IAATI’s rules and regulations before submitting your membership to the committee for approval.

Membership Status
Members or former members who are uncertain of whether they are financial or who have not been receiving newsletters should email the Branch Secretary to check on their status and recorded contact details.
Membership Renewal
Existing Australasian Branch Members can now renew and pay their membership in the member's only area of the Australasian Branch web site. To access the members's only area please use the "Members Login" tab in the top right corner of the page. Existing members will need to know their Australasian Branch user name and password to enter the Australasian Branch member's only area.
Forgotten or don't know your user name or password. Email the webmaster and an email will be sent to you with your details.
For existing members renewling online, there is a special membership offer avaialble to 31 March 2012. Log in to the member's only area to see this offer.
Existing members can print a copy of the renewal form. Once completed, post it along with a cheque or credit card details to the address shown on the form or fax it to +61 7 5609 6008.
Current Member Contact Details
Current financial members can view the contact details of members who consent to have their details on the list. One of the strengths of the IAATI organisation is that it facilitates communication among members worldwide so assistance and advice can be obtained.
Details of the Australasian Branch members can be obtained from the link below. A password will be required. Financial members can request a password from the webmaster.
Contact details of international members must be obtained from the IAATI International web site.
